Job Description
Responsible for planning, development and implementation of all of the company’s marketing strategies, marketing communications, and public relations activities, both external and internal. Build and manage a marketing team and carries out supervisory responsibilities, including developing goals, establishing priorities and conducting annual performance reviews. Understand market dynamics of pediatric care in China and build a marketing & communications team with differentiated strategies for Chinese and expatriate audiences Maintains the integrity of the company’s brand across all mediums and special projects. Establishes LIH-Olivia’s Place as a leader in pediatric therapy provision in China and serves as media point person, vetting and coordinating all interactions with reporters and editors.Required Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in marketing, communications or public relations with demonstrated success, preferably in the not-for-profit or association sector. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a managerial role hiring, training, developing, supervising and appraising staff. Deep experience working with China; OR experience working with international teams and stakeholders on issues in the non-for-profit. Demonstrated experience developing and implementing strategic communications plans in support of a mission, issue, program or campaign. Exceptional oral, interpersonal and presentation skills in English and Chinese and the ability to effectively interface with company senior management and staff as well as funders and board members. Excellent judgment and creative problem solving, including conflict resolution skills. Willingness to learn and apply new concepts; not afraid of technology. Understanding of the diversity of the population served by the company. Computer literacy in word processing, data base management, social media platforms, and Internet research
